the receipts
every scene is logged at the moment of capture: gps coordinates, the weather standing at the tripod (temperature, wind, sky), and the date. that data travels with the scene wherever it's shown or licensed.
real mornings survive an audit. take any scene's coordinates and date, look up the historical weather for that spot, and it matches, because someone was there. generated footage has no morning to check.

the window
nearly every frame is shot in the first hours after sunrise. one person, a camera, and a tripod on a coastline before most people are awake. that discipline is why dawn looks like dawn: the light can't be faked, and we've never needed to.
the sound
the audio is recorded where the camera stood: binaural field microphones, studio-grade, nothing added and nothing removed. no music is baked into any scene. the music layer is separate, made by independent artists, and yours to mix in or out.
the pledge
no generated frames. no synthetic audio. no stock footage. no ai: not in the scenes, not in the sound, not ever.
from august 2026, eu law requires ai-generated video to identify itself as machine-made. dawn will never carry that label.
